The Grottes de Han caves are located 110kms south east of Brussels. A tramway takes visitors from the village of Han-sur-Lesse to the caves.
Fermont Fort was one of the larger forts located at the extreme west of the main part of the Maginot line in France. The Maginot Line was a line of concrete fortifications, obstacles and weapon installations that France constructed on the French side of its borders with Switzerland, Germany and Luxembourg during the 1930s. The larger forts including this one, had a 60cm narrow gauge electric railway. This video shows a short ride on one of the trains.
Train 1900 is a standard gauge preserved railway centred on Fond-de-Gras in Luxembourg. The steam locomotive in this video is a Hanomag 0-4-0T built in 1900.
At Fond-de-Gras, the Train 1900 line meets the Grubenbahn "Minieresbunn" a mining museum railway. On this video the steam locomotive is a Krauss 0-4-0T built in 1897.
When the train runs through the mine it is hauled by an electric locomotive.
