The Locos:
BR Class 31 31438 built by Brush 1959.
USATC 2-8-0 built by Lima Locomotive Works 1945. Spent many years on industrial lines in China as Chinese class KD4.
The Epping Ongar Railway was formerly part of the London Underground Central Line, closed in September 1984. It has some reasonably steep gradients requiring the locos to work hard.
Filming is difficult because most publicly accessible areas are obscured by dense vegetation.
