On April 23, 2023 in Carlsbad, New Mexico, officers responded to a call from a pregnant woman who feared for her safety after a tense confrontation with her neighbor. The woman said her neighbor became aggressive, rushed toward her and her boyfriend, and raised concerns about property and a possible child inside the home.
