On July 27, 2024 in New Mexico, officers responded after a loss prevention employee reported a woman suspected of repeatedly shoplifting from multiple locations within the same retail chain. Officers located her near the store and stopped her as she appeared ready to leave. During the investigation, they allegedly discovered a controlled substance concealed on her person. This is body cam footage of the events that followed.
