On July 18, 2025, Las Cruces police responded to a domestic violence call at an apartment complex on South Telshor Boulevard. Officers arrested 36-year-old Sakina Mateso Sisca, who faces a misdemeanor battery charge and a felony count for causing more than $1,000 in property damage involving a household member. No injuries requiring hospitalization were reported.
