Hi egero! Have had quite a bit of trouble against them in multiplayer games...much stronger than their winrate suggests. This wasn't a banner game for them though. =(
This was a tricky game that involved barmstrong replacing Dionis after a while. Usually replacement players don't win since they're filling in for ragequitters who are newer to the game, but this was an honest emergency on Dionis's part and he was doing well for himself early on. 22 was way too good of a value here and paired well with 23. Barm rode that early money lead to an easy 18 cities, with me being the only other one to reach that mark and getting bodied on money.
In retrospect i should've put 20 up for bid and just run 04+13 for another turn if i got stuck with it. Passing altogether and missing out on any opportunity for 22 was bad for me.
