Here's yet another top-rated player who i don't think has appeared here yet! shiang was one of my most frequent opponents when i started grinding this on BSW, and in particular he got me started with high-level 2P games. He got to see how much i've improved since then~
The key plants in this game were 18 & 22. It may seem wild for some people to pay over $60 for those two plants, but Germany gives you a lot of time for them to pay off. The early market being so bad was a major factor in this too - don't do this if you see the likes of 21 & 26 on the horizon!
25 vs. 26 was an interesting situation, and one that i'm not sure i played right. If i overpaid for 25 it wasn't by much, though, plus there was still a halfway decent chance of 26 not dropping. When i have that big of a lead, i'll pay a little extra for safety in a spot like that.
Also, in retrospect, my starting build was probably wrong. Agree with shiang's build for sure, but i should probably take both of the blue twins in response. That sets me up to split the south with him and makes it awfully tough for him to break into blue at all. Cheaper cities early on, too.
