Hey, been a while since i posted a 2er! And it's another one on my favorite Italy map config~
This was one of the easier wins i've had in a while. Think Spara kept getting put in bad spots because they built 2 cities at the start, allowing me to make good money while staying bottom for the 09 on turn two. There's also some plant buys from me that i wouldn't have made when i was playing this a few years ago: 08 over 13 (for turn order w/ cheap coal), and 13 over 20 at cost (just a much easier plant to use well at that stage of the game, and makes tons of money on expensive maps like this one). Not only did i buy 13 over 20, i even passed the 20 to Spara on the next turn! Helped when 25 showed up, as Spara couldn't afford to bid that plant very high lest they fall into the coal vortex. Game was easy from there - make note of my big jump south! Even though it was such an expensive jump, it was well worth the four Step 1 cities; remember that each Step 1 city is a net $10 swing in your favor.
Did make one clear mistake near the end though: buying 22 over 23. With me having a 5-capacity plant, 23 would've allowed me to reach 21 total capacity with just two more plants. Didn't end up mattering, but very well could have in a less lopsided game!
