And here's yet another player who hasn't appeared on this channel yet, a good one too! Everyone in this game had a winrate above 40%, and it didn't disappoint.
Since this is the cheapest possible BSW map config for building, i valued early capacity more than usual. Was content with 06 + 13, then 10 for cheap coal. Was also willing to pay a lot more for the 20 than normal, and i'd say it worked out since we had a nasty stall after that. 21 may have been better though...
wolf-captain managed their bad early-midgame plants very well, building to remove a bunch of bad plants from the market. This got us to Step 3 before i could push my early capacity lead and end it.
The endgame was really tricky, and again i made a mistake that may have cost me. Specifically, bidding the 46 beyond the point when i could afford 18 cities. Was scared wolf would get to 18, but the endgame money suggests that may not have happened. Had also thought 31 would go for a lot of money since that was the only other plant that could get us to 17 cities, but it went cheaply and that was the game. Lesson learned: don't go beyond your magic number!
