Revenge for our previous match on here! This is one of the more lopsided 2ers you'll see.
You get to see why the 06 is such a good starting plant on Italy, and why i like the no-build tactic on turn 1 - it let me bid for the 05 and put Spara in an awkward position for turn order. Them not buying a plant there was great for me, as was the onslaught of plants like 14 & 19! 13 + 06 is so good in these situations.
Spara's key mistakes were building to 4 cities right away, and buying the 24 with expensive trash and 25 on deck. Got the 25 drop and it was smooth sailing from there. Even got a 26 drop out of nowhere after Spara bid for the 20 (correctly, i think) to add insult to injury! Decided to buy 29 a little before Step 3 since it would make a profit even if i had to replace it at the end, and the extra capacity could prevent Spara from ending early.
Game got sorta interesting near the end because i was worried i wouldn't get to 21 capacity in Step 3 and Spara could end it at 21, but they decided to try a long-term coal buyout strategy instead so i ended it early. They may not have had the money to buy a plant & end on the following turn anyway, in which case i would've ended it even if i only had 20 capacity - would be guaranteed to win on money if they don't have 21 cities.
