Woohoo, more 6P games! Really glad to document these since it's such an underexplored format.
This one had a pretty wild start. Daroj 3-building in yellow, then not buying a plant at all on turn 2...but landing the 21 for a low price on turn 3. Meanwhile i got to build the blue twins with 08 (a build that usually goes earlier), and that enabled me to land 26 in the mid-$30s. Turn 2 had 22, 26, 29, 33, and even 34 all bought! 29 actually went for more money than 26, while 33 was just above cost and 34 went at cost. Think 34 miiiiiiiight have been a mistake since its fuel isn't really cheaper than 26's for a while and it's terrible for turn order.
Stein & Selasphorus both did well with their early green plants, while Mastaba struggled to catch up on money after the 29 bidding and expensive builds. Mastaba even landed the 30 at cost and still couldn't get to 14 cities! Daroj did alright until he overpaid for the 32. Since i knew we would make it to the Step 3 auction, i wanted no part of 31 or 32 at the prices they were going for; i had earlier bid for 28 with dirt-cheap uranium. When you have a 5-cap plant early in 6P, i love targeting an efficient 4-cap later since it will likely go cheap. Opting for that cheap efficiency and waiting for Step 3 ultimately won me this game, as i was the only player to power 15 cities. Selas would've likely made it to 15 with a hair less money than me had he replaced 15 instead of 22 earlier, though.
