Welcome to the channel, koza! A less experienced player, which shows in their lack of fight for the big plants.
In this one i make a greedy build that gets appropriately punished by Bode. In retrospect i should've either built 3 cities in red or gone for Wurzburg; my decision there would be influenced by the plants we see on the market, with plants like 14 pushing me toward Wurzburg. Cheap cities are much more valuable when there are big plants you'll need to bid on!
After that build i pretty much had no chance, especially when i didn't grab Kassel on turn 2. Bode paid a lot of money for the 26 and stayed at 4 cities for all of Step 1, while wishmaker got a lot of cities down south with an early 20 followed by 28 to take some pressure off coal. Watch me make the biggest building jump of my Power Grid career in this one!
Later on i overbid for 30 just because i felt wishmaker was leading and wanted to make it expensive for them, and that hurt me later when Bode got to buy the 30 without too much resistance from me. Bode just worked the turn-order game for a pretty easy win, ending at 16 capacity.
