Here it is, folks, my first commentated video of a game i'm not playing! Since it features possibly the two best Power Grid players in the world, i had to record this one. Plenty of twists and turns to be had here too~
Stein went his usual route here, having low-powered efficient plants and building tons of cities to remove bad plants from the market. Bode, on the other hand, opted to fight for the 25 and even the 29 (a bit later than you'd normally want that plant at a high price). Meanwhile amitss emptied their wallet for the 18 on turn 2 (paid off by the following market stall) then landed an opportune Plant 20, and daroj used mediocre plants w/ cheap fossil fuels to survive the early game and win the battle for 26.
The finish was a much cleaner one than you normally see in 4-player - you'll know what i mean when you get there.
Oh yeah, and the nightly BSW server restart (basically a forced 15-minute break) happened during this game. Let's see if i can edit it out on here...
