Wanted to get some more France 2P on here! The 11 plant is a monster here, especially with 13 gone, and it went cheap given how bad the early plant market was in this game.
This game also shows the pitfalls of an early Plant 07 in 2P. It may seem more efficient than 05 when your opponent already has 08, but you're singlehandedly making oil more expensive each turn even if your opponent doesn't burn any! And i made sure to run the measly 03 on a few turns just to hurt the 07.
Probably overpaid for the 20 with 25 showing in the futures market, but got *very* lucky with the 14 drop after my opponent bought 23. Also should've gone much harder for 30 since i forgot how bad the remaining plants for Step 3 were. 30 also would've allowed me to take one of the nice efficient 5-capacity plants instead of having to hope for a 7 at the end. And 30 made a lot of money since you were going to get 3 turns out of it with cheap trash; in retrospect i should've paid $60-70 for it!
Luck goes my way for once, though, and it took me building Plant 19 out of the game to make it happen. Also a friendly opponent who opted not to buy a coal plant and lock me out of resources - need to remember that you barely profit at all from running the 20 that late in the game, so just hold onto the coal!
