Here's another 5er where the early money leader actually had enough time to win!
Still kinda tight at how the opening builds went - there's no reason for *two* people to crowd a Lyon single-build! Getting the 25 at cost on turn 2 should've made me a massive favorite, but the builds were rather expensive.
amitss pulled off another strong win here, this time playing like psteinx in a format that doesn't usually favor tiny efficiency. What i should've realized was that the market always moves a bit faster on France (due to the 13 being removed and the 11 always being desirable on turn 2), and the 15 & 16 being bought on turn 2 would make the market move much more quickly than usual. 15 & 16 are two of the main plants that block the market when they arrive later in the game, but they're strong options on the 2nd turn. Kudos to amitss for playing exactly how you should play in response to that!
Not sure if i could have done anything different to give myself a chance - wouldn't have gotten the 25 if i'd built in 2 cities for the opening. Maybe just bad luck with others' opening builds, as Lyon is usually one of the safest options out there.
