Welcome to the channel, hocij, and apologies for butchering your name so much! Also welcome to roos, a much more experienced player who is also appearing here for the first time! BSW defaults to Baden if you don't lock in a map, hence the restart at the beginning.
The key in this game was how i handled turn order with 08 & 11. That's not a great combination of plants to power 4 cities, so i stayed at 2 cities after winning the 11 and just ran that. The turn afterward i could've easily built to 4, but i opted instead to stop at 3 so that i'd get bottom. This was because 25 was on deck in the market and roos would eventually be desperate to buy a plant ahead of me. 24 came next to ruin my plans, but i passed on 23 anyway due to there being a few better plants that could still drop ahead of 24. Ended up getting the 21 at cost out of nowhere, and was off to the races!
Then hocij bought 24, with 25 & 26 immediately afterward, and i got 25 real cheap while roos got 26 at cost. The cheap 25 just sealed it for me, with 25/21/11 being a nice set of plants to carry me to Step 3. 20 came shortly before Step 3 and went for too much money - i didn't even dare to touch it!
Was starting to worry about roos's capacity lead with 20 + 26, but they were stuck at the top of the turn order with a *terrible* Step 3 market and not a lot of money. They ended up passing on plants in Step 3, giving me an opening to end the game early. It may feel wrong staying at 9 cities and not using the 11 at all during Step 2, but the large amount of sub-6 capacity plants in the Step 3 market heavily favored playing for turn order.
