Here's a high-rated player we haven't seen before! Shame they had to bitch about me making a correct play. =(
This game came down to yung dropping me the 11 at cost (don't do this FYI), then not bidding on the 18 because the 21 was on deck. If there are a decent number of duds left, 18 is still worth a decent amount of bidding - i've learned the hard way that 18 at cost is about as good as 21 at cost in most 2ers! This win was pretty academic once that 14 arrived for yung.
Regarding the last turn, yung needed a 7-cap plant to reach 21 total capacity. Since there was only one other 7-cap left in the deck, it was well worth it for me to bid on the 38 as long as i could end the game with it. Yung was complaining that i was needlessly dragging out the game, but i'm not good at math and prefer to play it safe with these things. Never apologizing for that, sorry not sorry~
BTW, i try to talk about my experience at Orccon but got too into the game. That i *will* apologize for!
