Here's a THREE-for-one deal! Unfortunately all of these games were slaughters in jbode's favor, but he made some plays that show why he might be the best in this game.
The first game was the most luck-driven, i feel, but the other two had major decisions i messed up. The same mistake ultimately swung both games: buying a middling early plant (15 & 16 here) to drop jbode the 18. Turns out i wasn't valuing 18 nearly enough in 2P games, as i didn't think bode would fight me for it with a possible 21 drop - he told me afterward that he would've bid for a while on 18 in that situation! Germany especially makes early 18 a powerhouse.
Today has definitely been a "live and learn" day in this game...
