On Jan. 17, 2024, KULT News paid a visit to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where we found some friendly bank folks and some wildly ignorant postal employees with a rare sighting of Santa Claus in the off season sprinkled on top!
Will the cop that we deal with be wildly ignorant of our rights or will he find his name on Santa’s nice list next Christmas?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
