Podfading, normalization, Byte Range Requests... if you've been podcasting long enough it's likely you are familiar with one or more of these terms. Podcasting has it's own language and depending on your experience level you are more or less schooled in all its jargon.

Jargon is defined as, "special words or expressions that are used by a particular profession or group and are difficult for others to understand." There is plenty about podcasting that is "difficult to understand" and this show aims to help you become more fluent in the language of a craft we all love and love to share...podcasting.

Join me (Ray Ortega), +Daniel J. Lewis +Richard Farrar  and +Lloyd Hannesson   to have a fun discussion about some of these terms, their meaning and the issues that they bring up for podcast producers.

This Round will be live at 4:30pm PST, 7:30pm EST, GMT-8 (time displayed the Event page is for your timezone) and can be viewed here on the Event page via the embedded player. This is also the best place to chat with the live audience and the Roundtable.
