Today I face off against Oklahoma Smoke BBQ's UNDEFEATED "Carolina" BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich Challenge!
In the second installment of my Texas/Oklahoma trip, I’m in the city of Moore at Oklahoma Smoke BBQ, a veteran-owned barbecue spot known for serving hearty, traditional Oklahoma-style BBQ with big portions and bold, smoky flavor. The restaurant has a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere and specializes in comfort-food staples like pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and stacked BBQ sandwiches, all paired with generous sides that make it a go-to for anyone with a serious appetite. They’re also deeply involved in the community, supporting local charities, law enforcement, and more. With friendly service, a local vibe, and plates piled high with slow-smoked meats, Oklahoma Smoke BBQ delivers a genuine, satisfying BBQ experience that truly stands out in the Moore area.
The challenge features a massive Carolina-style BBQ pulled pork sandwich loaded with 3 pounds of juicy smoked pulled pork, nearly 2 pounds of coleslaw, and pickled red onions, all packed onto a 1-pound King’s Hawaiian loaf. It also comes with over a pound of fries smothered in cheese sauce and bacon, bringing the total to well over 6.5 pounds of food. Competitors have 45 minutes to finish everything to earn the $75 meal free, a t-shirt, and a spot on the restaurant’s Wall of Fame.
