Kicking off the first episode of my New England trip, I’m in Medford, Massachusetts at YōKi Japanese Restaurant & Bar taking on their massive 10-pound Tonkotsu Ramen Challenge!
YōKi Japanese Restaurant & Bar is a popular spot known for its fresh sushi, flavorful ramen, and wide variety of Japanese dishes. With a modern, relaxed atmosphere and a full bar, it’s a great place for both quick meals and sit-down dining. They offer everything from sushi rolls and sashimi to ramen bowls and hot entrées, all made with quality ingredients, making it a go-to spot in the Medford Boston area!
The 10-pound ramen challenge features a massive bowl of their tonkotsu ramen loaded with corn, bamboo, spinach, soft-boiled eggs, narutomaki, garnishes, and slices of pork belly. It’s all filled with a rich, creamy broth to bring the total weight to just over 10 pounds. You have 35 minutes to finish everything to get the $62 meal free, along with a $58 gift card, and a spot on their social media Wall of Fame.
