In the final episode on my current trip, I’m heading to Chicago’s Little Italy, home to one of the city’s most legendary food challenges! Today, we’re at the iconic Fontano’s Subs to take on their 7-pound Meatball Sandwich Challenge. This monster is built on a 3-foot homemade bun, packed with 17 tender meatballs covered in their house-made marinara, topped with your choice of cheese, and finished off with either mild or hot peppers. You’ve got one hour to finish it all! Beat the clock, and your $52 meal is free, you’ll also walk away with a t-shirt ,and $50 cash!
