In today's episode I'm in Lexington, Kentucky taking on the "Red State Reckoning" Massive 10lb BBQ Challenge at Red State BBQ!
Red State BBQ is a popular BBQ spot known for its authentic slow-smoked meats, homemade sides, and laid-back atmosphere. The restaurant built their reputation for serving tender brisket, pulled pork, ribs, smoked sausage, and flavorful house-made sauces, making it the perfect place to experience true Kentucky-style barbecue. With huge portions and a menu full of classic Southern comfort food, Red State BBQ has become a must-visit destination for BBQ lovers passing through the Lexington area.
The “Red State Reckoning” BBQ Challenge features a massive platter loaded with just about every meat you could dream of. The challenge includes a full rack of ribs, plus one pound each of smoked brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and chicken wings. There’s also a meaty half-pound chicken sandwich along with four pint-sized sides including BBQ baked beans, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and peach bread pudding.
