In today’s episode, we’re in Helsinki, Finland, at John Scott’s Arkadia to take on their giant “Big Fish” Fish & Chips Challenge, the BIGGEST fish & chips challenge in the entire country!
John Scott's Arkadia is a cozy British-style pub that combines traditional pub charm with a welcoming Nordic atmosphere. The restaurant features classic British-inspired décor, a wide selection of beers and beverages, and a menu filled with popular pub favorites. Whether you’re stopping in to watch live sports, enjoying a meal, or experience a taste of Britain while visiting Finland, John Scott’s Arkadia has become a popular gathering spot for both locals and tourists in the heart of Helsinki.
The “Big Fish” Challenge features a massive serving of traditional fish and chips, including 1.2 kg (2.64 lbs) of crispy fried cod fillets served over 1.3 kg (2.86 lbs) of golden chips. The meal also comes with fresh grilled lemon wedges and two generous portions of tartar sauce, both of which are required to be finished. If you can clear the entire platter within 45 minutes, you’ll earn the €80 meal free!
While there are many John Scott’s locations throughout Finland and Sweden, this challenge is exclusive to John Scott’s Arkadia in Helsinki and cannot be found at any other location.
