Christopher Abbott has been confirmed as Professor X, and honestly, this one feels solid. Kit Connor is officially locked in as Cyclops, though he wasn't there in person tonight. Sadie Sink was on stage confirming her role as Jean Grey once again. Inde Navarrette has been announced as Rogue, and honestly, that's such a wild card pick that I love it. Adam Driver has been confirmed as Mister Sinister, and I am fully on board with that casting. Rounding things out, Maya Boyd has been revealed as Storm, joining Samara Weaving's already-confirmed Emma Frost.
Kevin Feige teased that this film is going to be centered around "Jean Grey's story," with Adam Driver even saying, "Kevin and I have been talking for years about me joining the MCU," adding that they found "something perfect with characters I feel very deeply about." Directed by Jake Schreier, X-Men officially arrives in theaters May 5th, 2028.
