DiMartino confirmed the tickets sold out almost instantly, and to us, that's proof enough that this movie absolutely deserved a real theatrical release instead of going straight to Paramount+. The production value, the animation, the character designs, the sheer scale of this world, everything about this film feels like it was made specifically for a theater experience, and it's honestly a shame that so few people are going to get the chance to see it that way.
We're really hoping that at some point down the line, Paramount reconsiders and gives this film an actual wide theatrical run, because based on how quickly this limited screening sold out, there's clearly a real audience ready to show up for it.
