🚨 SPOILER WARNING 🚨 What's up Geekly Goods fam! 😭 Holy moly, that ending to X-Men '97 Season 2! I genuinely did not see that coming.
The Season 2 finale, titled "Survival of the Fittest," just dropped today, and it absolutely did not hold back. I did not expect Nightcrawler's fate to go the way it did, and honestly, I need Season 3 to fix this and save him as soon as possible. Between everything building with Gambit's transformation, Rogue's heartbreak, and the full weight of Apocalypse's influence finally coming to a head, this finale delivered one of the most emotionally devastating endings the show has given us yet.
The good news is Season 3 has already been confirmed, so there's still a real path forward for this story, even after an ending this brutal.
