The LKR Innovation House is a 14,000m2 innovation hub in Østbirk that brings together research, development, and other teams from the VELUX Group. Designed by Praksis Arkitekter, the project transforms an existing warehouse—originally built as an “experiment in wood”—into a collaborative, light-filled space. By prioritizing renovation over new construction, and reusing much of the original structure, the building reflects VELUX’s commitment to healthy architecture, sustainability, and the potential of adaptive reuse.
