Set gently across the slope, Casa em Toque-Toque navigates the rugged terrain with precision and respect. Rather than fighting the landscape, the project uses it as a guide — resting on a concrete base that bridges the hill’s elevation and supports a wooden structure that hovers among the treetops.
Designed as a sequence of modular frames, the house unfolds through a series of compact, efficient volumes, all connected by an external circulation sheltered under wide eaves. The design balances openness and intimacy: while the living spaces face sweeping ocean views, the bedrooms are tucked into the forest side, preserving quiet and shade.
