The Residência TM, designed by Jacobsen Arquitetura, is a single-story contemporary residence in the countryside of São Paulo, set on a sloping site and conceived for a mother and her two daughters, with strong integration to nature and outdoor living. The project is organized into four volumes: the main block with master suite and social areas, two independent volumes for each daughter, and a fourth volume housing the garage and service areas, all positioned so the house seems to gently rest on the terrain.
With a generous ceiling height, large glass panels and a striking overhang in the social area, the house is light, horizontal and filled with natural light, balancing transparency and privacy through its slightly elevated position and the use of wooden shutters in the bedrooms. Natural materials (bush-hammered stone, wood) and soft, indirect lighting enhance the warm atmosphere, while landscape design and carefully crafted proportions between the higher living room, lower bedrooms and generous eaves create a fluid relationship between indoors and outdoors.
