Conceived as a vessel that blends ancient materiality with modern minimalism, Parikrama House rises from a coconut grove in Murud as a quiet dialogue between stone and glass. Inspired by the sacred Parikrama path, its layout invites a circumambulatory journey through a linear sequence of stone-clad spaces, anchored at each end by elevated living and dining volumes. Super-slim, high-tech windows frame verdant views and dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior. Constructed with tilt-up granite slabs, the house embraces a sense of permanence and timelessness. As day fades into night, light pours through the glass, rendering the massive stone walls invisible, revealing a dwelling where the ancient and the contemporary meet in quiet harmony.
