It’s claimed that the Resident Evil Code Veronica remake is being directed by the same team that helmed the Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 remakes.
Dusk Golem recently stated on Twitter that the forthcoming remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica, originally released in 2000 on the Sega Dreamcast, is in the hands of an experienced team.
“Resident Evil Code Veronica Remake is being directed by Kazunori Kadoi & Yasuhiro Anpo, same duo who directed Resident Evil: 2 Remake & Resident Evil: 4 Remake,” he wrote. Further Comments on Resident Evil Remakes
Dusk Golem would go on to respond to some tweets about how many teams are currently working on the Resident Evil series. He would say that teams are an outdated way of thinking when it comes to developing the franchise. According to him, there are fewer set teams and a more collaborative approach, depending on the job title of Capcom employees and those who work at support studios. What I've heard is Resident Evil Code Veronica in general is just a bit expanded, nothing is cut, some stuff heavily remixed (I hear it's the Remake with the most things changed or happening differently than you may remember, but every enemy, location, major event, is there & much even expanded). Chris falls into this too, Capcom realizes this is Chris' first time appearing in the RE engine Remakes as his younger self, some people wanna' see that, so Chris isn't a small part of the game & expanded, it's just also so is Claire. And Chris' stuff

The Information: Microsoft Has Considered Spinning Out Xbox, Plans New ‘Halo,’ ‘Fallout’ Games Microsoft hasnt ruled out restructuring Xboxs business
Options on the table include spinning off Xbox, making it a joint venture, or a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft like LinkedIn
[via The Information] As Microsoft gets ready to overhaul its struggling Xbox gaming unit, it hasnt ruled out spinning out or restructuring the unit as a wholly-owned subsidiary, which could make it easier to sell, or creating a joint venture with other partners, according to three people with direct knowledge of the discussions. Xbox plans major reset at the company going forward as the business falls under strain:
▪️Excluding Activision, Xbox has lost roughly half a billion dollars in revenue per year over the past five years
▪️Will end this fiscal year at ~3% profitability, down year-over-year
▪️Prices for console storage components will be 5x what they were last Fall
▪️Xbox has been impacted more greatly than many of their peers due to choice made in the past 5 years
▪️Need new business models and partnerships for hardware, committed to Helix
▪️Xbox is overextended after expanding the amount of first party studios
▪️Need to reassess the balance in investment priorities for the next 5 years
▪️Will evolve and rebuild our stack and look at capabilities across all of Xbox and potential M&A to help us win in hardware, PC, mobile, and streaming MICROSOFT IS SELLING XBOX!?](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ZkLxkyE-dMI/mqdefault.jpg)
