“NYC,” is a Church of the Brethren tradition that began in 1954. Every four years, youth from across the United States (and sometimes beyond) travel to Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, Colorado for a “life changing experience,” a week-long-youth-conference. The week includes worship twice a day, small groups, workshops, service projects, recreation, hiking in the Rocky Mountains and more. It is a full week, with lots of exciting activities and a good balance of time for reflection and down-time as well.
With this edition of “Brethren Voices,” three youth who attended the conference, Addison, Saylor, and Alayana Neher are interviewed by “Brethren Voices” Host, Brent Carlson. They are joined by their mother, Marci Neher who served as a chaperone at the conference. The program features excerpt video from the “National Youth Conference 2014 Wrap-up Video” produced by David Sollenberger.
