With the recent passing of Robert Redford (August 18, 1936 - September 16, 2025), I thought it was high time for a redo of one of my older videos, featuring the two films he made with Natalie Wood (July 20, 1938 - November 29, 1981). They became close friends off-screen, and he was the best man at her second wedding. He spoke kindly and fondly of Natalie through the years. As sad as it is that he has passed, there is some comfort knowing that these two dear friends are together again and have left a lasting legacy on film. Song by The Carpenters.

Remembering Sharon Tate on the anniversary of her passing. A tribute to Alice Faye (May 5, 1915 – May 9, 1998) and her most frequent male co-star, Don Ameche (May 31, 1908 – December 6, 1993). They were an adorable screen team (and as both were good singers, they were an ideal teaming for musicals at their home studio, 20th Century Fox). In all, they appeared in six films together, all of which have had official DVD releases. Don said in later years that Alice was his favorite leading lady. Alice recorded the song, Its Swell Of You in 1937.
