PM-R TV | My Sony cameras and three lenses for shooting an OUTDOOR wedding. My lens choice might surprise you @PMRTV | Uploaded 3 months ago | Updated 1 minute ago
I recently shot an outdoor wedding in the heat of the summer. I chose the Sony A7CII camera as my primary body and used the FE20-70mm f/4G lens for the bulk of the shoot. While shooting the ceremony itself, I also added the new FE70-200mm f/4G Macro lens on an A1 body. Once the ceremony was over with, I stuck that combo back into the bag and continued on with the Sony A7CII and the short zoom. Once the light went, I changed to the FE35mm f/1.8 until the end of the night. it is absolutely the lightest weight and most compact wedding kit I've ever used and I'll do it again for any future wedding outdoors. I also used the FJ Wescott FJ400 strobe with a Sony trigger for all the portrait work I did for the set-up images as well as the informal portraits I made during the dinner at the reception. If you have any questions about this setup or how I work, please don't hesitate to ask me!
