In this Subnautica 2 video, I showcase more leaked and unreleased content that can be spawned in with admin commands after the EA 1.1 Adaptive Measures update.
This is a hidden content showcase covering the new unfinished items, vehicles, tools, and machinery I was able to find in the game files after Subnautica 2 updated to Early Access Patch 1.1. None of this should be treated as final content, because these are unreleased items and unfinished systems that may change, be removed, or work completely differently before they are officially added to the game.
Some of the biggest new finds include the massive Resource Grinder, Raw Ore, Spiral Prismatic Shells, updated Trident Submarine functionality, a brand new advanced Radio, and more evidence that the next major area may involve mining, resource processing, and repairing damaged alien technology.
The Resource Grinder is one of the most interesting unfinished machines because it looks like a huge industrial shredder or ore processing system. Combined with the Raw Ore item and other mining-related assets, it looks like Subnautica 2 may be building toward a much larger mining and resource gathering loop in a future update.
The Trident Submarine has also changed again. It can now be driven, but it can also take damage that has to be repaired. When damaged, the Trident can be left with huge holes in the hull that leak air, making it feel more like a large, repairable vehicle or mobile base instead of just a static test object. This could be a big clue for how the Trident will eventually work once it is finished.
There is also a new Radio item that looks similar to the radio systems from previous Subnautica games, but more advanced and refined. Since Subnautica 2’s current story progression has focused heavily on black boxes, this new radio could be a sign that the developers may use radio messages or transmissions to continue the story in future updates.
I also show more evidence that the upcoming Scorpius Ravine area may be heavily tied to mining. The Sea Frog vehicle seems built for this kind of work, with onboard storage, a grappling hook arm, and another arm that appears to function like a grabbing claw or Sonic Resonator. If the player needs to gather large amounts of materials, the Sea Frog could become the main mining and heavy resource collection vehicle.
The Alterran mining platforms found in the files also support this idea. Between the Resource Grinder, Raw Ore, Sea Frog tools, mining platforms, damaged Trident repairs, and possible alien tech restoration, it looks like future Subnautica 2 updates may involve collecting large volumes of materials to repair or reactivate something important.
This video covers Subnautica 2 leaked content, EA 1.1 hidden items, unreleased admin command spawns, the Resource Grinder, Raw Ore, Spiral Prismatic Shells, Trident Submarine damage and repair mechanics, hull breaches, air leaks, the new advanced Radio, Sea Frog mining tools, Alterran mining platforms, and possible future Scorpius Ravine gameplay.
Thanks for watching.
