Several previously unknown audio files have reportedly been discovered inside Subnautica 2, and their internal filenames may contain major clues about upcoming biomes, creatures, story locations, and future updates.

The datamined audio tracks are currently labeled:
• Lava Master
• North Coral Master
• Deep Trenches Master
• Tufa Zone Master
• Habitats Master
• Habitat Sophie Master
• Power Explorer Master
• Title Reveal
• Player Death From Old Subs (I Didnt include this one in the video)
These names do not officially confirm that every location will become a completely new biome. Some could be internal development labels, alternate versions of existing music, unused tracks, or cues intended for areas already partially present in the game.
However, several names are extremely interesting.
Lava Master may point toward a much larger volcanic or lava-filled region. Subnautica games traditionally reserve their deepest and most dangerous areas for extreme environments, so an expanded lava zone could contain rare materials, advanced technology, hostile fauna, and major late-game story objectives.
North Coral Master suggests that the northern map expansion may contain a new coral ecosystem. This could be a brighter reef biome filled with unfamiliar plants and animals, or a transitional area leading farther toward the World Tree.
Deep Trenches Master may be the most exciting filename of the entire group. It strongly suggests a deep, dark trench biome beneath the currently explorable regions. This would be an ideal habitat for the suspected lamprey-like Leviathan or another massive predator designed for extreme depths and narrow underwater ravines.
Tufa Zone Master may refer to an environment filled with towering mineral formations, underwater chimneys, alkaline vents, or strange limestone structures. It could also be connected to the spire-like formations already appearing around some of the hotter regions.
The remaining tracks may reveal even more about the story.
Habitats Master could accompany the discovery of new abandoned settlements or intact colonist structures.
Habitat Sophie Master sounds like a specific story cue associated with Sophie and one of her habitats. This may mean we eventually find another major location connected directly to her journey, her research, or her attempt to reach the World Tree.
Power Explorer Master could be associated with the alien power plant, a new power-focused biome, or a major exploration sequence involving the restoration of power to another facility.
Finally, Title Reveal may be connected to an updated opening sequence, a major story transition, or the game’s eventual full-release presentation.
