Experiment #455: Carpenter's Level
(Rated G) Around 25-30 years ago, I used to collect levels. Part of it came from a general interest in tools and doing things with them I got from my dad. So I decided recently that microwaving a level is a fun and unique idea. Not one of my old levels nor one of my dad's of course, just a cheap one from Harbor Freight. Well, it turned out that microwaving it certainly was unique, but not fun. The only real good thing I got out of it is that like the combination lock, the level completely survived. The glass baubles didn't even crack and the bubbles weren't even deformed. For your sake I decided to speed up the video footage by 40x, it was in the microwave for well over 20 minutes, but the only thing that happened was that the level got hot to the touch when I took it out. So at least I didn't lose money in the production of this episode. Microwave Me, now in its 16th season is now the second longest continually running microwave show on YouTube, while being filmed in 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave as the show's host and producer, who for this episode uses a 700-watt Rival microwave.
