YouTube Channel Review #4: Jeff of TAOFLEDERMAUS
Going back to reviewing big YouTubers, today I'm taking a look at the YouTuber TAOFLEDERMAUS who can best be described as a channel that does things outside of the box. He mostly does stuff with mercury that most people don't think to do or weird shotgun ammo like shooting jolly ranchers out of a gun, but at the same time he uses normal ammo as well. For awhile, his target was this giant gummy bear that lasted for two years before he got rid of it. He also puts stuff in test tubes and blows them up and also does weird off the cuff experiments, especially early on. Some of that went viral, which unfortunately meant it's been stolen, in this case by the weather channel and NBC Dateline where they tried to link him to a murder because the video appeared on a suspect's hard drive. He also replies to comments, even doing a better job than JPizzle1122 at times, he'll snark back at the morons but also reply to positive comments. The only downside to his channel is that some of his shows he doesn't give enough of a chance. The test tube torcher (torture) tests and the molten lead series could have been a huge draw if given enough time, much like how Jon was at one point averaging 300,000 views per microwave episode, even though the videos of his that went viral were Movie Night episodes.
