Experiment #459: Can of Scrubbing Bubbles
(Rated PG) If you've been watching my show, you know that I'll use the opening "Hello and welcome to Microwave Me, the show where I microwave shit so you don't have to!". Most assume I got that from the Nostalgia Critic when in reality I got it from Scrubbing Bubbles "We work hard so you don't have to!". So I decided that microwaving a can of Scrubbing Bubbles was in order. It was by far the biggest aerosol can I've ever microwaved on my show. But bigger doesn't always mean better. Not the worst episode I've done but most of it was less exciting than the clothespins. At least there were a few brief moments of something interesting happening, though. I assumed microwaving it would cause the microwave to fill up with foam like shaving cream, but it just kinda slow leaked everywhere. And that's a real shame as I had high hopes for this episode. Also, believe it or not, it was in for well over an hour and the microwave magnetron started to go, so you're getting the edited version. I had to wait through a whole hour of this. Good thing I didn't make it the season finale! Plus I kinda had to cheat with tin foil to get it to do as much as it did. On the plus side, at least it has better visibility than most aerosol cans I've done. Plus the magnetron started to go so whatever I'm microwaving will be in a different microwave. But it's pretty sad how other than when the propellant briefly caught fire, the clothespins did more and this is definitely in the bottom half of my aerosol can episodes. Still, it did at least react and it is a tribute of sorts so I'll be airing it one of my normal episodes. The next experiment will be something that I promised to do a long time ago. Microwave Me, now in its 16th season is now the second longest continually running microwave show on YouTube, while being filmed in 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave as the show's host and producer, who for this episode uses a 700-watt Rival microwave.
