(Rated PG-13) I finally did it, I reached 500 episodes, so I decded to commemorate this with a special clip show highlighting the best of my 500 microwave episodes, there was a lot that had to be left out that I was originally planning on putting in, I might make more clip shows in the future of the 500 experiments I've done if enough of you want to see them. Looking back at my microwave show, I'm a bit surprised that half of the episodes I did were in the first year but it makes sense when you consider the fact that most of my earlier episodes were low-effort productions, often fruits and vegetables. It used to be common to upload multiple videos in a day, but after early 2014, it became incredibly rare because I started to put a lot more time and effort into production. Whereas I used to be able to crank out 10 episodes in one night, eventualy it took time to set up, to get the right lighting, to render the video that was filmed in high definition, and to upload it. Notice how few clips I show from early on in the show's run compared to later, many early episodes were not very good, so that's why. I've actually been working on this for a couple months. I began working on this before I'd filmed my last two episodes, believe it or not. It's also different from my other clip shows in that there's now introduction or conclusion, it's a highlight reel of the different microwave episodes I've done over the years. Now, to answer some more frequently asked questions I often get.
Q: How many microwaves have you gone through?
A: About two dozen, give or take, depending on how you define it. Microwaves used to last a lot longer back when I was mostly doing fruits and vegetables, but later on when it was mostly stuff that caught on fire, smoked, or blew up, the lifespan was reduced significantly.
Q: You know, this video from 2013 should have been edited better. I'm sure I'm the first one to tell you this.
A: Oh no, really? Maybe I should go back in time and tell myself the "advice" that's been moot for years!
Q: So now that you've done 500 microwave episodes, what's next?
A: I don't know. Hoenstly, I don't have a clue what I'm going to do next, I just know I need a break from microwave videos.
Q: Are you going to do a collab with other microwave shows?
A: Probably not.
Q: When will you do a face reveal?
A: I've appeared on camera many times.
Q: What was the scariest microwave experiment you did?
A: Lava lamp, hands down. Wih all of the other big explosions, I was a good distance away from the microwave so I was never in any real danger. This, on the other hand, was a very close call
Q: When are you going to run out of things to microwave?
A: No idea. Could be very soon, could be years from now.
Q: Has a drop in view count been a hindrance?
A: Yes, I feel less motivation to make videos when people aren't watching. I'm not in it for the money but it's hard to put the effort in for 12K subscribers when I'm lucky is 1.2K watch on average.
Q: Why is your Twitter feed so different from your YouTube channel?
A: My Twitter feed is about whatever's on my mind at the moment. I don't think as much about microwave experiments as I used to.
Q: Are there any other microwave channels you'd recommend?
A: The old school microwave channels no longer make microwave videos, they either quit YouTube or switched format. However, if you want good destruction channels, I recommend TAOFLEDERMAUS, carsandwater, What's Inside?, the Hydraulic Press Channel, Backyard Scientist, PhotonicInduction, Aussie50, and "Hole" the drill press channel.

A: Airbag, propane tank, car battery, model rocket engines thermite

A: I don't know. It's too soon to say.
