Experiment #481: Sealing Wax
(Rated G) Most of you likely only know about what I'm microwaving from The Walrus And The Carpenter from Alice In Wonderland, but likely have never seen it and may not even have an idea what it is. Sealing wax is what they used in the olden days to seal envelopes before they had glue you could lick. You had to heat up a candle of it and drip it on and impress your seal into the glob. It's still used for ceremonial purposes and it has the advantage of being obvious when the wax seal has been tampered. I bought some for microwaving with the idea being that it'd create insane amounts of plasma when the wicks lit as they melted down. It didn't quite do that but at least it did react, right when I was about to give up on it doing something interesting. The fire did result in something weird happening, a pink fog formed on the inside of the door. A pink waxy fog which i never had happen before. So now I'm the first perso to have microwaved sealing wæx on all of YouTube, and I'm glad I did. A very unusual way to start the newest season. Microwave Me is currently in its 18th season of production and has now been running on YouTube for over four years, dating back to the old school microwave show period, while being filmed in crystal clear 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave stars as the host and producer, who for this episode uses a 1985 Montgomery Ward microwave.
