Experiment #475: Random Assorted Metal (tin foil, copper wire, steel wire, soldering, steel wool, paper clip, and magnesium)
(Rated G) Nearly 500 episodes in and I'm still microwaing metal. What gives? Well it's kinda cool to try different things, after all I'm not just microwaving tinfoil here. It's a bunch of stuff that I had no idea how it'd react together. What ended up happening was that the magnesium ended up melting the steel wool after the other metal made a Christmas display in the microwave. However with the inside of the jar on fire, it looked like I was microwaving an evil ghost, making this kind of a late Halloween special. It was also a cool science special as the magnesium and steel wool put on the best show. And yes, I realize I took the clickbait route with the title. But it's what you gotta do when YouTube botches the subscriber notification system to where only 1-3% of your subscribers watch your videos. So it's either I do clickbait or get 150-400 views. Microwave Me is currently in its 17th season of production and is now the second longest continually running microwave show on YouTube, while being filmed in crystal clear 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave stars as the show's host and producer, who for this episode uses a 1976 Litton microwave.
