Matthews/Atlas Alessandra Tropical 48" ceiling fan in matte white with light blue palm blades. This fan was featured in my most recent Spotlight video, be sure to check that out for more details. It's pretty much the same motor setup as the original Alessandra, so there's not a lot more to dive into there. Again, wish the selection of speeds was a little better as the three upper speeds are almost indistinguishable, but overall the range offered is actually pretty good. Especially when you factor in the palm blade factor, this fan really kicks for such wide blades with an additional increased pitch. As happy as I am about Fanimation keeping a legacy going with the return of the Islander, I'd say I prefer the overall simplified styling and wide array of options that Matthews-Atlas has made available with this product. At the base level without nitpicking details, it's extremely well done and is a smart extension to the Alessandra offering. And the fun blade color options, gotta love that.
