A tribute to the lovely Mary Carlisle (February 3, 1914 – August 1, 2018), a beautiful young actress (coined "The young woman with the angelic face) who retired from films in the 1940s but who worked with some of the most popular stars of the 1930s. She could do both comedy and drama and was teamed most notably with Bing Crosby in several movies. Happily married for 75 years, she remained active until she was 100 years old, occasionally granting interviews. Martha Tilton, with Benny Goodman's band, performs "And The Angels Sing", recorded in 1939. Enjoy!
