The angelically beautiful Mary Carlisle, who lived to the ripe old age of 104, appeared in several pre-code films, and here's a tribute to that period in her career, using George Olsen and his orchestra (with vocals by Irving Mills), performing, "That's You, Baby", recorded in 1929. Mary was at first under contract with MGM, and later Paramount, before retiring to focus on her family. She's best remembered today for a series of college musicals with Bing Crosby, but she worked with many different leading men, including Robert Taylor, Richard Arlen, Lew Ayres, Wallace Ford, and Richard Cromwell, just to name a few. Enjoy!
