The second video in my Film Noir Dame series, this one dedicated to the enigmatically lovely Gene Tierney (November 19, 1920 – November 6, 1991). Her iconic role as the title character in "Laura" (1944) established her unique screen presence. She is a noir icon for a reason, and her presence is always compellingly watchable. Background music is David Raksin's theme for "Laura" performed by The Jazz At The Movies Band.
Clips from:
Laura (1944)
Whirlpool (1949)
Night And The City (1950)
Where The Sidewalk Ends (1950)

Those of you who have followed my channel for quite a few years know that several years back I made a slide show tribute to Ursula Andress. I thought it was long overdue for a re-do, this time using clips from some of her films. Once again, Johnny Hartmans rendition of A Slow, Hot Wind is a perfect fit. Enjoy!
