Alright here is your rundown of what happened last night!

Someone entered two unlocked vehicles, one parked in the 3200 block of Southeast 21st Ave and one in the 2000 block of Southeast 32nd Lane. Once inside they stole an undetermined amount of cash.

Deputy Hancock was dispatched to the 5300 block of Northeast 24th Street in reference to a suspicious person. Upon his arrival he made contact with Brandon Townsend. During the investigation Townsend was identified as the suspect who entered a home in the 5300 block of Northeast 24th Street and was scared away by the homeowner. He was arrested and transported to the Gold Star Hotel.

Someone broke into the storage area of Kimberden Farms located in the 5400 block of Northwest 110th Ave and stole tools along with lawn equipment. Total loss is estimated at over $3,600.

Deputy Mendoza was dispatched to the 11,900 block of Southeast 84 Terrace in reference to a vehicle parked in the grass median. Upon contact with the driver, Melissa Bean, Deputy Mendoza detected signs of impairment. Bean refused to comply with Field Sobriety Tests and was arrested. Bean was transported to the Gold Star Hotel where she refused to submit to a breath test. Bean has 2 previous DUI convictions and a prior refusal to submit.
