I could go on for a while about what I didn't like about this run. Instead, here are three things about it that I did like:
1. Getting the goals on the way to the finish line went well and felt fun.
2. That Mario match was pretty decent.
3. I achieved my goal of establishing a baseline time for King Boo that's significantly faster than my Wario Greats PB.
There's still a long way to go for my efforts with this mischievous monarch, but I'm happy to begin my journey here. I need to think about any% strats and whether it's more strategic to focus on getting Mercy Rules or Fast 3 1-0 victories, because depending on how intensely I lean into bunt-to-win tactics I feel like it could go either way. As the only IL that completes a full playthrough on Star, this'll be an interesting one to see develop in the future.
